Beauty and the Beast was the first animated movie ever to garner a Best Picture Oscar nomination that follows the tale of Belle, who becomes imprisoned in a castle by the Beast, a former prince who was cursed. If he can’t find love — and find someone to love him in turn, despite his hideous appearance — he’ll remain a beast forever.
Plot: Bella goes to live in the Beast’s castle in place of her father. The monster was a prince once but, due to a curse, he’s now trapped in a monstrous body. The two know each other and Bella realizes the Beast isn’t as terrible as he seems. Furthermore, a lot of humanized objects turn her stay in the haunted castle very pleasant.
